Gone but still near ...  Memorial to Memorial to Harry Justice

We will miss Harry. He had a tough life. We hope we made it a good one his his last years. Harry will be missed by his cat friends, especially the girls who loved to snuggle and cuddle with him. He was a lover boy.

March 1997 to January 20, 2011

"I am among God's creatures now
In the heavens of your mind,
So do not grieve for me my friend,
As I am with my kind.

So when your life on earth is spent
And you stand at Heaven's gate,
Have no fear of loneliness-
For here, you know, I want"

Max you were dearly loved and sadly missed. Till we meet again

He had so much to give; he made us smile every day and brought so much happiness to our lives.

We loved him very much. He passed away September 7th.

Gone but still near ...  Memorial to Felix
  posted on: 25 September, 2008, 03:20 pm
I'm not sure if you remember me, hope you do, but I just wanted to inform you that Felix died Monday night. He was battling an unknown disease for a few months. There was something destroying his red blood cells but it was unsure what. We did a bunch of testing with no clear answers and the invasive testing (bone marrow) that they said may give us an answer would not have changed his course of treatment so we refused additional testing. He was on an antibiotic for a bit and lastly steroids. He lost a lot of weight but I was hopeful that he would hang in there. Monday morning he was fine but later in the evening he suddenly fell to the floor and had trouble breathing. My husband and I comforted him and stayed right by his side during it all and contemplated taking him to Animerge. Before we could make a clear decision he spit up some blood and took his last breath. I just wanted to thank you all for giving me Felix. He will always hold a special place in my heart. He was truly a great friend and companion. He got along with every cat we brought into our home and he loved my sister and any visitor that set foot into our house. All of my friends that have met him are giving us support right now and will remember him as well. My mother passed away in July so it's been very hard dealing with two great losses but I hope that they are both together in heaven. Thank you again for giving me one of the greatest cats that ever lived,
Paula Taylor
